The Max Kreger Memorial Fund

Max Kreger was a lifelong resident of Sandusky and an active member and supporter of the community. Max was involved in many civic and private organizations including. St. Joseph Catholic Church (past president of church council), Sandusky Board of Education (past president), Sandusky Jaycees (past president).

Max was always very devoted to his family and community. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. It was always his hope that giving of himself would help make things be a little better than how he found them.

We miss you Max...

A poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson sums up much of what Max's life was about...

Max Kreger was deeply committed to the Sandusky community. His family and friends honored both Max's memory and his commitment to making Sandusky a
better place to live and work by establishing the Max Kreger Memorial Fund
at the Sandusky District Library.

The fund consists of donations made to the library in Max's name, and will be used by the library to enhance its Summer Reading 2000 program, and to bring additional guest speakers and activities to the library in future months. Max's family and friends realize the central role our library plays in the education, entertainment, and culture of our community.
